Um zwei meiner umgebauten Monopods miteinander verbinden zu koennen, habe ich eine Aluminiumscheibe mit einem durchgehenden 3/8″ Gewinde versehen. So erreiche ich eine Hoehe von etwa 3,5 Metern – in diesem Vergleich das mittelhohe Beispiel.
This aluminium disc allows me to connect two modified monopods. It has a 3/8″ threaded bore. With this combination of monopods I reach a height of app. 3,5 meters – the medium height in this comparison.

Der Connector verbindet die “dicken” Enden des Benro- und des Manfrotto-Monopods.

Die Monopods im Einsatz. Einen horizontalen Einsatz (Cliffhanger) halte ich wegen der auftretenden Biegemomente an der Verbindungsstelle für nicht ratsam.

Um den Fussabdruck meines Monopods zu verkleinern, habe ich den Fuss mit einem Kameragewinde versehen. Zusammen mit einem neuen Spike kann ich es jetzt auf dem Kopf stehend verwenden.
This modification of a monopod reduces its footprint significantly. The bottom section gets a 3/8″ thread for mounting the gear. Together with the new spike the monopod can be used upside down now.

Zwischen Spike und Monopod kann eine CD eingeklemmt werden. Auf dieser koennte man sich verschiedene Reilungen aufzeichnen.
A CD can be placed between the spike and the monopod. There one could mark different stops.

Klammer

Seit meinem letzten Urlaub ist diese Klammer ein Teil in meinem Foto-Rucksack, das ich nicht mehr missen moechte.
Since my last vacation this little clamp is a really smart piece of equipment that I don´t want to miss in my photobag any more.

Auch der NodalNinja und ein Kugelkopf lassen sich auf die Klammer setzen.
Ballhead and pano head can easily be fixed on the clamp.

Hier ist die Klammer zusammen mit dem SlimRotator und dem Ring-NPA im Einsatz.

Schnellwechsler am NPA

Manch befreundeter Panoramist moechte gerne die Manfrotto 323 Schnellspanneinheit auf seinem NPA verwenden. Fuer diese Faelle habe ich einige Grundplatten auf der Fraesmaschine angepasst. Jetzt gleitet die Grundplatte spielfrei auf dem Arm.
Some panoramists like to use the Manfrotto 323 quickchange plate on their pano head. So I modified some base plates on the milling machine. Now the base plate slides on the rail without slack.
