Im Sueden von Essen findet man die Reste der ehemaligen Zeche Rudolph. Um 1830 gegruendet, mehrmals stillgelegt wurde sie 1966 endgueltig geschlossen und alle Gebaeude bis auf das Maschinenhaus abgebrochen. Dieses Panorama ist mein Beitrag zum WWP Event “Forgotten Places”.
Zeche Rudolph in the south of Essen was one of many small coal mines in the ruhr district. Founded around 1830 it was never very successful, discontinued ofer the centuries and finally closed in 1966. All buildings except the machine building were abandoned. This panorama iss my contribution to the WWP event “forgotten_places”.
