Little Planets sind bei manchen Panoramen eine Darstellungsart, die sich foermlich aufdraengt. Bei PTGui ist das mit zwei Klicks erledigt. Leider sind diese beiden Klicks etwas versteckt.
Some panoramas cry for a little planet projection. Little planets are just one click away from your equi in PTGui. Unfortunately these two clicks are a bit hidden.

Zunaechst werden die Einzelbilder wie gewohnt zu einem equirectangularen Bild verarbeitet.
The source images are proceeded as usual. The result is an equirectangular projection.

In der Menueleiste des Panorama-Editor gibts neben dem Kugelsymbol ein kleines Dreieck. Klickt man drauf, werden die verschiedenen Projektionsarten angezeigt. Das war der erste Klick.
In the menue bar of the panorama editor you can find a little triangle next to the sperical logo. Clicking the triangle lets the projection options pop up. That was the first click.

Zweiter Klick: Projektionsart Little Planet waehlen. Das wars.
Second click: select the little planet projection. That´s all.

Gerade bei Motiven mit viel Himmel wirken solche little planets. Im Gegensatz zur Umrechnung in Polarkoordinaten oder der little-planet-Transformation in Pano2VR geht der Himmel hier bis in die Ecken.
Little planets work nice with much sky in the scene. The sky is projected till the corners of the image. This does not work with polar coordinate conversion of your photo manipulating program or the little-planet conversion of Pano2VR.
